What is CLAT Exam Coaching?
CLAT or Common Law Admission Test is the all-India Entrance Examination. The CLAT is especially conducted by the National Law University, Delhi or NLU for getting admission for Under-Graduate and Post Graduate degree programs such as (LL.B & LL.M). The main responsibility of conducting the exam would be rotated among the NLU. These are given based on seniority in establishments. Normally, the CLAT is a gateway exam for 14 premier law universities in India. These are popularly called as the National Law Schools or National Law Universities.
In the late 1980s, National Law Schools has begun with a premier institution setup. They have mandated carrying out bold experiments on legal education across the country. National Law University of India (NLSIU), Bangalore, gained a major reputation for promoting as well as catering to the education requirements for students. The success prompted the concept to grow as well as other institutions joined such as Bhopal Hyderabad and Kolkatta. Each of the institutions had a separate entrance exam originally, and it became quite an annoyance for the aspirant. An aspirant filed a petition at the Supreme Court of India about the issue. Upon investigating the issue, the Supreme Court of India mandated a common entrance exam for National Law Schools. Judgment leads to the formation of the Common Law Entrance Exam or CLAT. Almost all the National Law Schools admit students on their CLAT scores.
Public sector undertakings in India, such as the ONGC, Steel Authority of India, Coal India, BHEL, Oil India, and many others, also use CLAT Post Graduation (CLAT PG) scores during the recruitment process. The test can be easily taken by the student who completed the Higher Secondary Examination or the 12th grade for admission of an Under-Graduate degree in Law (BA LL.B). Students who are graduated can also take Law for Master of Laws (LL.M) programs in the Law school.
